AXISA. On June 3, ARIADNE, née Cachia, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church, at the age of 89. She leaves to mourn her great loss her children Gerald and Maryanne, Marguerite Portelli, John and Jay, Peter and Marica, her beloved grandchildren Johanna and Eric, Karen, Edward and Diane, Andrew and Debbie, Simon and Vanessa, Michael and Agnieszka, Michelle and Simon, Tanya, Sandra, Kristina and her adored great grandchildren Jessica, Kenneth, Rory, Thomas, Louisa, Matthew, Andrea, Timmy, Kaya, Mila, Miguel and Pedro, her sister Arthemis De Maria, sister-in-law Marie Cachia, her devoted carer Usha, her nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St James Capua tomorrow at 9 a.m., for Jesus of Nazareth parish church, Sliema, where Mass will be celebrated followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Puttinu Cares will be appreciated.

PULIS. On June 4, at St James Capua Home, GERALD, went to meet the Risen Lord comforted by the rites of Holy church and to join his beloved wife Margaret, née Cassar. He leaves to mourn his loss his nephew and nieces Alex and Yvonne Pulis and Josette Flores Martin and their families, his in-laws, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St James Capua today for the Santa Maria Addolorata Chapel where a Mass praesente cadavere will be celebrated at 2p.m. followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

ZAMMIT. On June 4, DOLORES, known as Dolly, from Rabat, passed away peacefully at Mater Dei Hospital comforted by the rites of Holy Church, at the age of 98. She leaves to mourn her great loss her relatives in Australia, Maria Zahra from Rabat, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital at 8.30 a.m. tomorrow for St Dominic parish church, Rabat where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9 a.m. followed by interment at the Santa Margerita Cemetery, Rabat. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

Charity concert

Students of Arleen J. Barlow's Vocal Studio will hold a concert in aid of the Physically Handicapped Rehabilitation Fund today at 7.30 p.m. at the St James Cavalier Centre for Creativity. Tickets cost €8 and are available from St James.

Gżira school reunion

The Gżira local council will be holding a reunion for those who attended the town's primary school between 1951 and 1989.

The event will take place on Wednesday at 6 p.m. at the Activities Centre in St Albert Street.

Bank assistance

HSBC has partly financed the cost of printing the scholastic diary of Sir Michelangelo Refalo Centre for Further Studies' and has donated books to the Agius De Soldanis Girls' Secondary School.
