BORG - PHYLLIS, aged 83, on May 4, at St James Capua Residence, Sliema, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her brothers Albert and his wife Margaret, Joe and his wife Cecile, her sister Muriel Degiorgio, nieces, nephews and friends. CAMENZULI. On May 4, at St James Hospital, Sliema, PAULA CARMEN ROSE, aged 68, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She went to join her beloved father Louis and mother Carmen. She leaves to mourn her loss her two cherished sons Jason and Andre Adams, her daughter-in-law Lindsay, her special grandson Charlie Moon, her partner Tony and her respective relatives and friends in Malta and abroad. The funeral leaves St James Hospital tomorrow at 9 a.m. for St John of the Cross Church, Ta' Xbiex where Mass will be said at 9.30 a.m. followed by interment in the family grave at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. SULTANA - CARMELO, 71 years, passed away peacefully at Mater Dei Hospital on May 4, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his devoted wife Pauline, his children Monica, Miriam and her husband John, Speranza and her husband Deo, Lawrence and his wife Paula, his grandchildren Dylan, Felicity, Duncan and Elena Marie, other relatives and friends. Concert for charity

A concert to raise money for families in need and for an educational centre for children and adolescents will be held on Thursday at 8 p.m. at the St Augustine parish church in Valletta. It will feature baritone Joseph Lia and organist Romina Morrow.

Pietà jumble sale

A jumble sale is being held in aid of the Our Lady of Fatima church at the parish centre, Pietà, until May 17 between 9.30 a.m. and 7.30 p.m. It opened yesterday.

Literary evening

The National Book Council will mark the 100th anniversary from the birth of poet Ġorġ Pisani with a literary evening on Friday at 6 p.m., at the Robert Samut Hall, Floriana.

Sale of endemic plants

Indigenous and endemic plants, some of which are quite rare, will go on sale between tomorrow and Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Argotti Gardens in Floriana.
