AGIUS. On March 3, at St Catherine Home, Attard, CARMEN, née Bonnici, widow of John, aged 93, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her sad loss her only daughter Maryrose and her husband Charles (Lino) Cassano, her grandchildren Anna Maria and her husband Marc Alden, Jonathan and his girlfriend Caroline, her great-grandchildren Andrew and Emma, in-laws, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends, especially Rose and Harry Alden. The funeral leaves St Catherine Home tomorrow at 8.45 a.m. for St Mary's parish church, Attard, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9 a.m. The family would like to thank the Dominican nuns and carers of St Catherine Home for their care and dedication. ATTARD. On March 2, JOSEPH (ex-Malta Trade Fairs Corporation), of Iklin, aged 64, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his sad loss his beloved wife Marthese, née Bartolo, his children Claudine and Toni, his brothers Manuel and Lawrence, his sister Rose, his in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 2 p.m. for St Helen's Basilica, Birkirkara, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m., followed by interment in the family grave at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. AZZOPARDI. On February 28, at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa, Ontario, Canada, ROBERT FRANCIS, aged 76, passed away peacefully and surrounded by his family, beloved wife Rosemary, née Zammit, loving father of Jacqueline Azzopardi and her husband Michael Jacobs, Karen Azzopardi and her husband Stuart Sudlow, and Tracey Azzopardi, dear grandfather of Mairi and Andrew. Will be sadly missed by his sisters Pauline Puli, Tessie Bajada and her husband Victor, Lina Giacchino, and brothers Frank and his wife Judith, and Ted. Robert was very proud of his military services as sergeant, and Tank Commander with The Royal Horse Artillery from 1947 to 1954 and will be remembered for appearing on the cover of Soldier Magazine in February of 1949. CACHIA. On March 1, at Mater Dei Hospital, PAUL, of Sta Luċija, aged 82, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Antoinette and her husband Norman Magri, Godwin and his family, Rita, widow of his son Joe, Denis, Ronald and his wife Fiona, his brother Emanuel, widower of Jessie, his grandchildren architect Etienne Magri and his wife Margaret, Danika and her husband Rodney Galea, Ryan and his fiancée Natasha, Clive and his fiancée Antonella, Christabel and Aaron, great-grandchild Abigail, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 1.30 p.m. for Sta Luċija parish church, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2 p.m. followed by interment in the family vault at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.

CINI. On March 3, at Karin Grech Hospital, ANTONIA of Gozo, residing in Paola, aged 87, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her daughters Maria, Lina and Doris, their spouses and families, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Karin Grech Hospital tomorrow at 8 a.m. for Christ the King parish church, Paola, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Doris, née Spiteri, his children Anthony and his wife Melanie, Rosanne and her husband Edward Jaccarini, and Marika, his dearest grandchildren Christian, Mia, Tara and Debbie, his sister Marie Rose and her husband Chris Calleja, residing in the US, his in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on March 6 at 2 p.m. for St Joseph parish church, Msida, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Being the trigesima die of EDGAR AMATO GAUCI's demise, the 6.30 p.m. Mass said today at the Immaculate Conception parish church, Ta' l-Ibraġ, will be offered for the repose of his soul. The presence of relatives and friends will be appreciated.
