AGIUS. On December 8, at Zammit Clapp Hospital, GEORGE, of Qormi, aged 86, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his children Mary, Fr Robert OFM Conv., Josephine and her husband George Casha, Tony and his wife Jessie, Michelle and her husband Noel Bartolo, his grandchildren Stephen and his wife Rosaline, Christopher and his wife Mary Grace, Geoffrey and his wife Ruth and Mariel, his brother-in-law, Fr Sebastian OFM Conv., sister-in-law, Dovina, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Zammit Clapp Hospital today at 1.45 p.m. to St Sebastian parish church, Qormi where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m., followed by interment in the family grave at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar Sagra Familja, Naxxar will be greatly appreciated. The family regrets they are unable to receive visitors. May God grant him eternal rest.
BORG. On November 23 in the UK, EMMANUEL, originally of Birkirkara, passed away comforted by the rites of Holy Church, aged 67. An English resident often living in Rabat tal-Virtu, he was also known as Leli to friends. He is sadly missed by his wife Ann, his children Catherine, John and his wife Domenika, Elsa and her partner Darren, and nieces Leeanne, Kimberly, Angela, Johana, Brittany, and nephews Jake and Alfie.He is also mourned by his siblings and their families, relatives and friends. A funerary service will be held next Saturday at 9 a.m., at the Madonna tal-Ħerba church in Birkirkara, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Those wishing to pay their respects are welcome to attend the mass and burial service. May the Lord grant him eternal rest.
CAMILLERI. On December 8, LILIAN née Church, aged 80, widow of Louis, passed away peacefully at Saint James Capua Court Residence, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her son Ray and his wife Odette, her daughters Valerie and Pamela, her grandchildren Petra, Justine and Karl, her sister Maria, her brother Henry and his wife Lina, her sisters-in-law Antida Church and Edmea Camilleri, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. Mass praesente cadavere will be said tomorrow at 2.15 p.m. at Lija parish church followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Eden Foundation will be appreciated. May God grant her eternal rest.
PERSIANO. On December 8, at Karin Grech Hospital, EMANUELA née Farrugia, aged 87, widow of Angelo, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved children Costantino and wife Anna, Santino and wife Carmen, John and wife Silvia, Joseph and daughter Tiziana, Maria and husband Joe, Carmen and husband Charlie, Nancy widow of Gino, and Connie, widow of Karmenu, her sisters Wenza who lives in America, and Lonza who lives in Australia, her grandchildren and great grandchildren, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves at 2.45 p.m. today from Karin Grech Hospital for Tarxien parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3.30 p.m. followed by interment in the family vault at Ta' l-Erwieħ Tarxien cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
