AGIUS. On October 25, at Wexford Retirement Home, Toronto, EDITH MARY, née Gregory, in her 87th year, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She is survived by her daughters Geraldine and her spouse Anthony, Doris and her spouse Peter, Antoinette and her spouse Robert, Lucienne and her spouse Robert, her grandson Michael and his spouse Cathy, her great-grandchildren Laura and Philip, and her grand-daughters Adrienne, Sarah and Ruth. Predeceased by her brother Joseph Gregory, his spouse Carrie and nieces Phyllis and Roxanne and other relatives and friends. Cremation was held in Toronto on October 28. For her final journey Edith's ashes will be interred with her parents at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
GATT. On November 11, at Mater Dei Hospital, CHARLES, aged 73, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Odette, née Pace, his children Loredana and her husband Salvatore Portincasa, Massimiliano and his wife Zena, Fabrizio and his wife Marvic, his two grandsons Peter and Federico, his sister Mary and his brother Paul and his wife Michelle, his sisters-in-law Iris and Lydia, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8 a.m. for Our Lady of Lourdes parish church, San Ġwann, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m., followed by interment in the family vault at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
MICALLEF. On November 11, at St Vincent de Paul residence, LOUIS of Paola, aged 94, widower of Mary, née Grech, ex-teacher, of Paola, on the second anniversary of her demise, passed into the arms of his Creator, comforted by the rites of Holy Mother Church. He is survived by his only daughter Marion and her husband Frans Caruana and his only beloved grandson Gianluca. He leaves to mourn his loss his siblings, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St Vincent de Paul residence today at 8 a.m. for Christ the King parish church, Paola, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. The family would like to thank the medical and nursing staff at Loreto Ward, Padre Pio Complex, St Vincent de Paul residence, for their dedication and care during Louis' stay there.
