BONNICI. On December 28, at Sir Paul Boffa Hospital, MARCELINE née Holland, of Paceville, aged 78, widow of Arthur, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her irreparable loss her beloved children Kevin and his wife Sandra, Daniela and her husband Ray Lanzon, Katrina and her husband Raymond Foster, her son-in-law Giuliano Ramunno, widower of her daughter Ivana, her grandchildren Marco, Francesca, Erika, Matthew, Lisa, Luke and James; her sister Grace Holland, her brother John Holland and his wife Margaret, her sister-in-law Rose Holland, widow of her brother Patrick; her late husband's brothers and sisters Vincent and Goldie Bonnici, Vera and George Hyzler, Joe and Anne Bonnici and Annette and John Borg, other relatives and friends.
The funeral leaves Sir Paul Boffa Hospital tomorrow for the Immaculate Conception parish church, ta' L-Ibrag, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9.30 a.m. followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to charitable institutions will be appreciated. Lord grant her eternal rest.

MUSCAT. On December 27, CARMELO (ex-teacher, St Patrick School, Sliema), aged 75, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Miriam, Carmen and her husband Neville and Rose and her husband Joseph, his grandchildren Angele, Shawn, Jessica and Ian, his brother Ernie and his sister Stella, other relatives and friends. - R.I.P.

SCIBERRAS. On December 28, MANSUETA, went to meet the Risen Christ. Deeply mourned by her sisters Angela and her husband Constantino Muscat, Theresa and her husband George Spiteri, her aunt Censina Sciberras, nephews, nieces, other relatives and numerous friends.
The funeral leaves Boffa Hospital today at 3.15 p.m. for Our Saviour parish church, Lija, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3.45 p.m., followed by interment at Lija cemetery. Donations to The Malta Hospice Movement, Balzan, will be greatly appreciated.

SIMIANA. On December 27, at St Vincent de Paul residence, FRANK, of Hamrun, aged 82, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Gertrude, née Attard, his children Marceline, Josette, Rose, Franco and Sandro, their respective spouses, grandchildren and great-granddaughter, his sister-in-law Yvonne, in-laws and their respective families, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends.

Child First Aid Course

The Malta Red Cross - First Malta Branch will be holding a 17-hour child first aid course next Saturday, on January 12, 19 and 26 and on February 2 from 9 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. at Boffa Hospital, Floriana.

The fee is Lm15 (€34.94) and a certificate valid for three years and recognised in the EU will be given to those who successfully complete the course.

Marian Celebration

The Diocesan Commission of Our Lady of Fatima will be holding a Marian celebration next Saturday at the Home for the Clergy, Triq Anglu Grima, Fleur de Lys, Birkirkara.

The celebration starts with Mass at 4 p.m., followed by the rosary in honour of Our Lady of Fatima and will end with benediction with the Eucharist. The public is invited.

Mass On New Year's Eve

Adoration and Mass will be held on New Year's Eve at St Francis church, Triq Msida, Birkirkara from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m.
