GRECH. On Monday, October 29, LAWRENCE of Victoria, Gozo, aged 88, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his devoted wife Maria, his dearest children, Michael and his wife Anna, Frankie and his wife Josalda, George and his wife Josienne, his grandchildren David and his wife Miriam, Janet and her husband Adrian Mizzi, Ruth and her husband Danny Magro, Sarah, Nicholas and Lauren and great-grandchildren Gabriel and Rafael. The funeral cortège leaves Gozo General Hospital today, Wednesday, October 31, at 3.30pm, for St George’s Basilica, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 4pm, followed by interment at St Mary’s Cemetery. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
PARNIS. On October 30, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARIA GLADYS, widow of Vincent, aged 84, passed away peacefully. She leaves to mourn her loss her son Noel and his wife Natalie, her grandson Liam Joseph, her sister Lucy and husband Lars, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Thursday, November 1, at 1pm, for St Mary’s parish church (Il-Knisja l-Qadima), Birkirkara, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 1.30pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, would be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest. The family would like to thank her carers at Dar il-Madonna tal-Mellieħa and all staff at MAU1, Mater Dei Hospital.
