He leaves to mourn his irreparable loss his mother Marlene, his son Liam and Maria, his sister Alexia and Julian, Irene, relatives and numerous friends. St Augustine Monastery concert
A concert of sacred arias – Pietà Signore – will be staged at the St Augustine Monastery, in Valletta, tomorrow, starting at noon.
Soprano Andriana Yordanova will present a repertoire of renowned sacred arias, including Bach’s Quia respexit, Vivaldi’s Domine Deus, Stradella’s Pietà Signore, Rossini’s Inflammatus from Stabat Mater and O, Solutaris from Petite Messe Solennelle, Cimarosa’s Sonata in G, Pachelbel’s Canon and Schubert’s Litany.
Bulgarian-born soprano Yordanova will be accompanied on the piano by Ramona Zammit Formosa on the occasion.
After the concert, those attending will get an opportunity to visit the chambers of the monastery in Old Bakery Street for free.
Tickets can be obtained from the venue itself half an hour before the concert.

Good Friday exhibition in Mosta
A sacred art exhibition is currently open at the Nicolò Isouard Philharmonic Society premises in Mosta.
The event, under the auspices of the Culture Commission at the club, features works by different artists including Good Friday statues, a replica of those found in the Mosta parish church, an altar of repose and other objects related to the Good Friday procession.
Visitors may also view the Sala San Ġorġ Preca, the club’s chapel which is appropriately decorated for the occasion.
The exhibition is open between 9am and noon and 5.30 to 9pm.
On Maundy Thursday doors will remain open until 11.30pm. The exhibition closes on Sunday.
