KING. On March 16, at Mater Dei Hospital, ALBERT, aged 87, passed away peacefully. He leaves to mourn his great loss his wife Luiġia, his sons Mark, Ian and daughter Sandy, their spouses, grandchildren, in-laws and friends. Celebration of Mass will be said on Tuesday, March 27 at 2.30pm at Marsascala church, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
MIFSUD. On March 22, at Samoc, Mater Dei Hospital, JOHN, of Attard, aged 83, widower of Katherine, (founder of Thi Lakin School, Attard) passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss, his children Liam, Shenda, Damian, Tami and Aidan, their spouses, his 10 grandchildren, his sisters Marie-Louise and Josephine, his brother Edwin and his wife Ena, his sister-in-law Veronica (widow of his brother Reginald), other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital, tomorrow, Monday, March 26 at 8.30am for St Mary parish church, Attard, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9am. The family would appreciate it, if instead of flowers, donations are to be sent, in his name to Lumiere Support Group (Samoc), Mater Dei Hospital. Lord, grant him eternal rest. His family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Casa Antonia, Balzan, where he resided for the last two years. They would also like to thank the wonderful team at Samoc for their great dedication and care during his final days.
STILON DE PIRO. On March 24, at Sir Anthony Mamo Oncology Centre, Mater Dei Hospital, NADINE STILON DE PIRO, aged 62, passed away surrounded by her family, and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her father Dr Mario Stilon de Piro, her sister Karen and her husband Daniele Polotto, her beloved daughters Laura and Sandra, their father Joe Bonnici and Ramona Drury and their husbands Mark Gasan and Marc Urpani; her grandchildren Christina and Nicholas, her nieces Jennifer and Julia, their partners Charles and Philippe and all her relatives and friends. Celebration of Mass will be said on Tuesday, March 27 at 10am at Lija parish church, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. May the Lord grant her eternal rest.
