BEZZINA. On February 7, at Mater Dei Hospital, FRANCIS, widower of Jane, passed away peacefully at the age of 93. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Yvonne and her husband Joseph Jones, Charles and his wife Maryanne, Marisa and her husband Simon Tabone, his son-in-law John Attard, widower of his daughter Doris, his grandchildren Claudine, Mark, Stephanie, Sarah, Lewis, Daniel, Giovanna, Lara and their respective families, his great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Monday, February 11, at 8.30am, for St Publius parish church, Floriana, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest. Special thanks go to all the staff at Casa Antonia, Balzan.
DEMAJO – JOSEPH MARY of Vittoriosa (former manager, Malta Drydocks), widower of Josephine, aged 85, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his daughters Carmen and her husband Maurice Caruana, Anna and her husband Vincent Zammit, Tessie and her husband Paul Falzon, his son Lawrence and his wife Helen, his grandchildren, his brothers and sister, in-laws, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Saturday, February 9, at 1.15pm, for St Lawrence parish church, Vittoriosa, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 2.30pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Instead of flowers the family ask for any donations to be made to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, and Hospice Malta, Balzan. Lord, grant him eternal rest. On February 4, at Karin Grech Rehabilitation Hospital, VIVIENNE, née Lauri, of Ħamrun, residing at Gżira, widow of Anton, aged 83, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Mariolina, Hilary, Gaby and Joanna and her husband James and her beloved grandchildren Victoria and Anthony, her sisters, her sister-in-law, her nephews and nieces and their families, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Saturday, February 9, at 8am, for Gżira parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. GATT. On Thursday, February 7, at Karin Grech Rehabilitation Hospital, MARIE, née Ganado, of Sliema, widow of Mario Anthony, aged 76, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her irreparable loss, her sons Adrian and Peter, her daughter Maureen, her grandchildren Adrian, Gabriel, Matt and Tara, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Monday, February 11, at 1.30pm, for St Gregory’s parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment in the family chapel at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. ZAHRA. On February 6, RITA MARIA, widow of Felix, aged 81, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children, Felicity and her husband Peter Borg, John and his wife Debbie and Sylvann and her husband Lawrence Aquilina, her grandchildren Laura, Cristina, Antonio, James, Zak, Kendra, Katrina, Julian and Andrew, all other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today, Friday, February 8, at 2.30pm, for St Anne parish church, Marsascala, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3.30pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Żabbar cemetery.
