COLEIRO – JULIAN FRANCIS CARL, died on December 20, 2018. He passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss, his cousins, relatives and friends in Malta and abroad. A funeral Mass will be said tomorrow, Friday, February 8, at 9am, at St Patrick’s church, Sliema, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Donations, instead of flowers, to id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, would be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

GALEA-LAURI. On February 4, at Karin Grech Rehabilitation Hospital, VIVIENNE, née Lauri, of Ħamrun, residing at Gżira, widow of Anton, aged 83, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Mariolina, Hilary, Gaby and Joanna and her husband James and her beloved grandchildren Victoria and Anthony, her sisters, her sister-in-law, her nephews and nieces and their families, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Saturday, February 9, at 8am, for Gżira parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Instead of flowers, the family kindly ask for any donations to be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor, Fra Diegu Square, Ħamrun (by cheque) or bank transfer: IBAN MT 38APSB 77013000000035618520010. Lord, grant her eternal rest. Special thanks go to the staff at Mater Dei Hospital and Karin Grech Rehabilitation Hospital for their dedicated care, and all the carers who looked after our dear mother.

MAMO. On Wednesday, February 6, at St Catherine’s Residential Home, Attard, ALDA, widow of Charles, aged 89, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Claudia and her husband Michael Clayman, and Adrian; her grandson Alex, her sister Marthese and her husband Franco Brancadoro, her sister-in-law Wendy Galea, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. Funeral Mass will be said tomorrow, Friday, February 8, at 2pm, at St Mary’s parish church, Attard, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Donations to St Catherine’s Residential Home, Attard, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

TEUMA. On February 6, at Loyola House, Naxxar, Brother EMANUEL TEUMA, SJ, aged 85, went to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his brethren in the Society of Jesus in Malta, his brother Francis and his wife Elma, and Nancy, widow of his brother Charles, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated today at 3.30pm at Loyola House, Naxxar, followed by interment at the parish cemetery, Naxxar. No flowers by request but donations to the Jesuit Infirmary for aged and sick Jesuit Fathers and Brothers will be greatly appreciated. May he rest in the peace of the Risen Lord.

ZAHRA. On February 6, RITA MARIA, widow of Felix, aged 81, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children, Felicity and her husband Peter Borg, John and his wife Debbie and Sylvann and her husband Lawrence Aquilina, her grandchildren Laura, Cristina, Antonio, James, Zak, Kendra, Katrina, Julian and Andrew, all other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Friday, February 8, at 2.30pm, for St Anne parish church, Marsascala, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3.30pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Żabbar cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
