ABELA. On April 6, LINO D. LP, aged 87, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Frances née Abdilla, daughter Anna, his brother Anthony, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Wednesday, April 10, at 2.30pm for the chapel at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3pm followed by interment in the family grave. No flowers by request but donations to id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, would be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
COLEIRO. Peacefully, on Wednesday, April 3, at PeopleCare Oakcrossing, London, Ontario, Canada, JOSEPH GASPAR, aged 87. Beloved husband for 62 years of Lydia. Loving father of Isabel and her husband George Borthwick, Mark and his wife Val Coleiro, Len and his wife Cathy Coleiro and Colin and his wife Shannon Coleiro. He will be lovingly remembered by his nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Henri Coleiro, Willy and his wife Nancy Coleiro and the late Yvonne wife of John Camilleri, all of Malta. Long-time employee of EMCO. 32-year member and 3rd Degree Knights of Columbus, St Justin’s parish. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
FALZON. On April 7, GEORGE from Luqa passed away peacefully on his 68th birthday. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Theresa, his daughter Nadya, his son Owen and girlfriend Stephania, his niece Phoebe, his father Joseph, his brother and sisters, their families, relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Thursday, April 11, at 7.30am for Luqa parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 8.30am, followed by interment at Luqa cemetery. FELICE PACE. On April 9, ALEXANDRA MARY née Thornton, aged 75, passed away peacefully comforted by the Rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her husband Salvu (David), her brothers Frank of Canada and Peter of London, and her in-laws Joseph husband of Josephine, Fr. Albert OP of America, Irene wife of Alfred Pollacco, Marie widow of Joseph Azzopardi, Richard husband of Gemma and Carmen wife to John Azzopardi, nephews, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Gozo General Hospital on Thursday April 11, at 4.15pm for the parish church of Għasri, where Mass præsente cadavere, will be celebrated at 4.30pm, followed by interment at the parish cemetery. No flowers by request, but donations to the Friends of the Sick and the Elderly of Victoria Gozo or/and to the Renovation Fund of the Basilica of Our Lady of the Patrocinju Għasri. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Pauline, née Psaila, his children Mario and his wife Angela, Josanne and her husband Simon Camilleri and Antonella and her husband Mark Galea, his adored grandchildren David, Veronica, Malcolm, Carl, Andrea, Steven and Elena, his sister Pauline and her husband Harold Caruana, Mary wife of his late brother Josie, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
