GSSE silver medallist Angela Galea has joined English Swimming Club Camden Swiss Cottage for a short period of time where she is training under the guidance of head coach David Hobbs.

Camden Swiss Cottage are based in London. They boast of past national champions.

Galea, currently in the UK, is swimming for her new club in local competitions, including the fortnightly Speedo League.

So far, she managed to win her race at every session of this competition.

She also participated in a nationally registered competition, held a few weeks ago at Enfield, the Middlesex County Short Course Championship. Here swimmers get the opportunity to qualify for the national championship.

This was a short-course meet and Galea managed to set three new (Maltese) national best times in butterfly and individual medley events.

She was awarded a trophy for the best individual medal swimmer at Enfield.
