AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi said he was optimistic about his chances of bringing Chelsea forward Andriy Shevchenko back to the Serie A side.

“I’m trying to bring Sheva back to Milan and it is highly probable that I will manage to,” Berlusconi told ANSA news agency.

Shevchenko had seven successful seasons at Milan before leaving for Chelsea in 2006 but the Ukraine striker has struggled in English soccer.
