The controversy about the St John's Co-Cathedral museum will eventually abate but a more heated one lies ahead regarding the opera house site. Instead of repeating the controversies surrounding Renzo Piano's first design, with the result we still have today, why doesn't the government present the public three options and then hold a mini-referendum through text messages as was done with the public's choice for the design of the euro coins? That would be a smart way of starting a project for a smart island!
