Microsoft Malta is inviting Malta's most innovative teachers to submit their respective ICT in education projects and stand the chance of winning a free trip to the forthcoming European Innovative Education Forum organised by Microsoft in Berlin between March 23 and 25.

The forum is a gathering of innovative teachers and other education experts from all over Europe, showcasing their work and celebrating their success as an outstanding opportunity to reinvent education and get some new inspiration. It is expected to attract over 300 teachers from around 44 countries across Europe who will be meeting in Berlin to share ideas about innovation in education and the role of ICT in education.

The winning teacher will present the most innovative project which illustrates the use of technology in class, in the teaching and learning practices at the forum. The winners who will emerge from the Berlin Forum will be invited to the worldwide forum in Cape Town, South Africa.

Now in its seventh year, the European Innovative Education Forum forms part of the Innovative Teachers and Schools programme, a global community of educators and schools sponsored by Microsoft's Partners in Learning programme.

All teachers and educators who are interested in submitting their participating projects should do so by not later than tomorrow. Interested participants are requested to join an online community on Microsoft's Innovative Teachers Network and complete an application form which explains the project, its context and the use of technology in the delivery of a learning outcome. Interested individuals are to call the Microsoft Malta offices for guidance on how to join the online community and fill in the application form.

For further information one may contact the Microsoft Malta Offices on 2138 1202 or contact Fabianne Ruggier on v-farugg@microsoft.com.
