The Xirka tal-Isem Imqaddes t'Alla has, with God's grace, successfully held two missions in two different parishes of Malta, one at the Holy Trinity Parish in Marsa and the other at Our Lady of Mount Carmel at Balluta.

During these missions we visited band clubs, political clubs as well as sports clubs. We also visited bars, schools and many religious communities and associations. We are happy to say that we were warmly welcomed in all these places and that the people who were present listened attentively to our appeal to use every means to glorify the Holy Name of Jesus and to try to put an end to blasphemous words which unfortunately mar our Maltese society. Wherever we went we managed to instil a spiritual fervour. We encouraged people to speak out fearlessly though with caution and to turn to the Lord in face of the difficulties that one comes across during one's life.

The warm welcome we experienced and the various invitations we received to make other similar visits have certainly filled us with great enthusiasm to continue this apostolate which was started in our society by Fr Anġeliku Vella OP, ex-Chaplain of the Xirka tal-Isem Imqaddes t'Alla some 30 years ago. We realised that there still is much work to be done in places such as associations and clubs where people meet to recreate themselves. We also understood that a lot of good can come out of our mission in such places.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank those archpriests who invited us and with whom we worked hand in hand. We were very happy to celebrate the Eucharist and to organise Adorations of the Blessed Sacrament in the parish church as well as in filial churches of the same parish. Our thanks also go to all the proprietors of bars and to the presidents and committees of those clubs and associations who invited us and who so cordially welcomed us in their premises.

We would also like to make an appeal to those archpriests who would like to invite us in order to organise a mission in their parish to contact Fr. Joe Vassallo OP at St Fatima Convent, Guardamangia. We assure them that we do not work on our own but that we always plan our mission with the archpriests themselves. We have always done this pastoral mission with great joy and we will continue to do so in the future.
