Ruben Amorim joined his Portugal team-mates in training today for the first time since arriving in South Africa.

The Benfica midfielder joined Portugal's squad yesterday as a replacement for the injured Nani.

The Manchester United winger sustained damage to his collarbone during training last Friday and was ruled out of the tournament.

The 25-year-old Amorim has been called up for the first time to represent Portugal's first team, having previously played for the Seleccao's Under-21 and B squads.

Portugal, who are in Group G alongside Brazil, North Korea and the Ivory Coast, will kick off their campaign against the Elephants on June 15.
