A batch of Italian breadsticks available for sale contains soya despite it not being declared on the product label, the Environmental Health Directorate has warned.

The Directorate warned people allergic to soya to steer clear of lot number L07716 of Terre d'Italia's Grissini Stirati Torinesi.

An EU-wide rapid alert has been issued to warn the public about the health risk.
