All confirmed cases of scabies have been treated and are no longer infectious, the Health Department said.

In a statement it said 59 adults and 16 children were found to be infested with scabies and all identified contacts were given preventive treatment. 

It said that all schools in which cases of scabies were reported have been investigated and the parents of the exposed children were addressed by public health specialists and prevention treatment given to all those at risk.
