Bookmakers have revealed the actors and films in the lead to take home an Academy Award. Alicia Powell reports.
All bets are on "12 Years A Slave".
William Hill bookmakers gave the Steve McQueen movie odds of 2/7 to win best film at the Oscars.
Despite being the firm favorite the bookmaker reports 90 percent of bets being placed in the UK are actually on "American Hustle".
However, William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams says it's likely the slave drama will appeal more to the Academy.
Chiwetel Ejiofor's performance in "12 Years A Slave" earns him top odds for winning Best Actor - he currently stands at 8/13.
But Matthew McConaughey's performance in "The Dallas Buyers Club" could see him sneak ahead on the night with 7/4 odds.
In the best actress category bookies predict Cate Blanchett will easily walk away with the prize.
The Academy Awards ceremony takes place in Los Angeles on March 2.
