Alitalia today launched a new global promotional campaign in 30 countries with flight tickets available for sale until February 2 for travel in 2016.

The airline is offering more than 1.36 million seats from Italy at promotional fares for domestic and international flights.

Fares, including taxes and fees, start at €36 for one-way travel between Rome and Brindisi, and €39 for one-way flights between Rome and Bari or Milan Linate and Comiso.

European flights start from €55 for one-way travel from Rome to Barcelona or Valencia and from €79 to London.

Long-haul economy class flights start from €375 for round trip flights between Milan and New

York and from €479 to Brazil or Japan. Premium economy class tickets to Santiago, Alitalia’s new intercontinental destination to start in May, are on sale from €1,199. Long-haul business class service promotional fares start from €1,647 to New York or €2,129 to Buenos Aires.

Following Alitalia's partnership with Etihad Airways, the 2016 sales campaign also allows travellers to purchase numerous flights at discounted fares from Italy, via Abu Dhabi, to the Far East and Australia. These flights will be available between Friday and January 31.

Travellers can reach Bangkok from €434 and Melbourne from €934 (round-trip economy class tickets, all taxes included), or Kuala Lumpur from €1,676 and the Maldives from €1,799 (round-trip business class tickets, all taxes included).
