Julian Jaeger has been reconfirmed chief executive officer of Malta International Airport for the next three years.

Speaking shortly after signing his new contract yesterday, Mr Jaeger said he was proud of the airport's accomplishments during his tenure and was looking forward to continuing his hard work.

Chairman Karin Zipperer said the past year and a half were characterised by challenges in the international travel industry, adding that the board was confident Mr Jaeger's confirmation was a sign of continuity in the right direction.
