Air Malta will save €8.2 million when it returns two leased aircraft to the lessor next year, Tourism Minister Edward Zammit Lewis told Silvio Parnis in reply to a parliamentary question.

The minister said that although the airline has 12 leased aircraft, it is currently only using 10 and their number will be reduced to eight. Two other aircraft are already sub-leased to other airlines.
