Air Malta announced is increasing its flights to and from Tripoli to four  frequency as from next January 3.

The flights will be on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Chief Commercial Officer Philip Saunders said:

“This decision was taken following the increase in demand registered since we resumed scheduled air services to Libya on November 28.

The service has become very popular and passenger figures are growing steadily. With the additional frequency we are planning to carry approximately 1,000 passengers every month to/from Tripoli.”

The updated flight schedule will operate as follows:

Monday

Malta Dep 1000hrs arr Tripoli 1155hrs

Tripoli Dep 1255hrs arr Malta 1250hrs

Tuesday

Malta Dep 1000hrs arr Tripoli 1155hrs

Tripoli Dep 1255hrs arr Malta 1250hrs

Thursday

Malta Dep 1440hrs arr Tripoli 1635hrs

Tripoli Dep 1735hrs arr Malta 1730hrs

Saturday

Malta Dep 1450hrs arr Tripoli 1645hrs

Tripoli Dep 1745hrs arr Malta 1740hrs
