Air Malta's flight schedule is back to normal after almost two days of turmoil, particularly for passengers on London flights, after an aircraft was grounded in Paris for technical reasons on Friday evening.

The aircraft had been meant to operate London flights yesterday but alternative arrangements had to be made, causing many hours of delay for passengers.

Today’s flight KM 394/5 to Amsterdam was delayed by 55 minutes but by noon the flight schedule was back to normal, Air Malta said.

Charles Mangion Air Malta’s chairman, thanked all staff for turning the difficult situation around.

The airline apologised to its passengers for any inconvenience caused by
circumstances which it said were beyond its control.
