An Air Malta flight to London yesterday evening turned back to Malta because of a cabin pressurisation issue.

Air Malta confirmed the incident, saying the captain opted to bring the A320 plane back to Malta as a precautionary measure.

A part was replaced and the flight was then performed by the same aircraft.

The total delay was of just under two hours.
