The government has signed, ratified or implemented 23 agreements to facilitate foreign direct investment in Malta during this legislature, the Foreign Ministry said.

It said these agreements included 18 double taxation agreements, three on the protection and promotion of investment and two on the removal of the visa requirement.

They were part of 99 arrangements with several countries.

Other agreements were also reached in sectors such as tourism, the legal field, sports and young people.
