Juventus president Andrea Agnelli believes there is no significance in his team's disappointing start to the season.

The Bianconeri lost 1-0 to Bari at the San Nicola stadium yesterday in their first Serie A game the 2010-11 campaign.

Agnelli told the club's official website, www.juventus.it: "We are aware of the players we have in the team.

"We had six new players in our starting 11 and they need time to adapt to the new tactics.

"We have made so many changes and we have plenty of confidence in the work done by coach Luigi Del Neri."

Del Neri succeeded Alberto Zaccheroni earlier this summer and is under pressure to deliver following last season's disappointing sixth-place finish.

"We started on the wrong foot but the season has only just begun," said Del Neri. "We have to work a lot and this we already knew.

"We didn't play a good game and that was evident."
