The Appeals Court has rejected an appeal by the Attorney General from a Magistrate's decision to allow a boy accused of association to traffic drugs to live with Fr Colin Apap.

The decision was handed down by Magistrate Consuelo Scerri Herrera last week when the boy was arraigned with another three men after drugs were allegedly found in a Birkikrara garage.

The boy had been granted bail against a personal guarantee of €10,000, but the Attorney General noted that he had not been requested to make a deposit.

The first Court said it had taken its decision in view of the boy's future.
