I regularly apply to leave my son at the Club 3 to 16. Since I work full-time and have no help, I enrolled my son in the Club 3 to 16. I always found this to help a lot, until this year. Due to a misunderstanding on my part, I submitted the application after the closing date. Then, I applied on the first day of school and was accepted. I asked them to keep my son at the school for an extra hour on the first day, to give myself time to leave work and get there. But one of the play workers shouted at me, saying he would leave my son on a bench and insisting he would not be responsible if something were to happen.

Obviously, I rushed to school to pick up my son where I was told there was not enough staff to keep my son.

I also wrote to the Foundation for Educational Services but they closed my case without solving it.

I wonder how the government can be so proud of this service if there is a staff shortage. Am I expected to resign from work only because Club 3 to 16 cannot handle one more child?
