Alexia Pace, winner of the second edition of the Malta Advertising Research Award, with Ray Grech, chairman of the Malta chapter of the International Advertising Association, and her tutor, Dr Brenda Murphy. Her thesis, entitled "Advertising on the Information Superhighway - a commercial big bang or a meltdown? - an audience perspective," won her a special certificate and APS prize of Lm200. Any thesis tackling the subject of advertising in Malta from the marketing, communications, historical, psychological, sociological, legal, managerial or any similar perspective can be submitted to the Adjudicating Board of the Malta Advertising Research Award. Students wishing to participate in the third Malta Advertising Research Award competition are to contact the Malta Advertising Research Award chairman, Carmel Bonello, at bonelloc@bpc.com.mt for a copy of the regulations for the 2002/2003 edition.
