Additional bus trips are being offered by Transport Malta over the carnival weekend to cater for added demand.

In Malta, extra bus trips will be operated on Sunday to provide more frequent services to Valletta before and after the defile and show. These services can be used using regular bus tickets and saver cards.

Special bus services will also be running in Gozo between today and Sunday, including direct services between Mġarr Harbour, Victoria and Nadur, with departures times that match the Gozo ferry timetables.

Night bus services will also be offered after 11pm in Gozo between today and Sunday. These will be offered at €1 per trip, and will connect Nadur and Victoria to all localities in Gozo, including Mġarr. Night buses will also be available from Ċirkewwa at €2.50 per trip.

Park and Ride services will be availble at the Floriana Park & Ride, with the Minibus Co-op increasing the frequency of its trips.

In Gozo, the MDP (old MMU) parking will be available free of charge and will be linked to the celebrations with a shuttle offering a service every 15 minutes. Parking will also be available at the school parking in Victoria, free of charge.
