A 33-year-old man from Ghajn Dwieli was grievously injured this afternoon in a traffic accident. He is not in a critical condition.

The man was driving a Fun Cargo Toyota in Regional Road from St Julian’s towards Msida at around 2.30pm when he lost control after a side collision with another car and crashed into a wall.

At 3.30pm, a 44-year-old woman from Qormi and her 12-year-old daughter were hit by a car driven by a 77-year-old nun from Marsa as they were Pedestrian Crossing near Pavi. They have been hospitalised but their condition not yet known.

At around 6pm, an 82-year-old woman was hit by a Toyota that was being driven by a 75-year-old man from Mosta as she was crossing Psaila Street in Birkirkara. She suffered grievous but not critical injuries.

Another four people were injured in another accident earlier today.
