Old Maltese buses, military airplanes, helicopters, all types of cars and a carnival float form part of the annual display of scale models.

More than 30 model collectors have put their prized collections on display at the Easysell Showroom in Mdina Road, Qormi.

The exhibition also includes thematic displays, including a model of Malta International Airport complete with airplanes, passengers, vehicles and the terminal.

It also features a model circus with a majestic tent, ticket booths and vehicles that belonged to the late founder of the Die Cast & Scale Model Society, Tarcisio Saliba.

This year’s exhibition also showcases several die cast collections, including selections of Hondas, Mercedes, models from the James Bond films and promotional vehicles.

For the first time the exhibits will include a selection of police vehicles from around the world. Entrance is free and the exhibition will be open today from 9am to 6pm.
