The school and council of Dun Manwel Attard School, which caters for children with special needs, organise regular activities throughout the scholastic year.

The motto of the Wardija school is Nimxu Lejn Ħajja Aħjar (towards a better life). The school is doing its utmost to reach this goal by providing educational and cultural activities while making sure to have a safe, secure and caring atmosphere.

The head of school, Anthony Galea, together with his staff and council, are a dedicated team, all set to give the children under their care the individual attention they need without putting aside the present and future necessity of the students to be as independent as possible.

The school prospectus prepared for this scholastic year gives ample information to those interested in the present and future well-being of the students, to their parents and to those who wish to admit their children to Dun Manwel Attard School, though this does not exclude a meeting with the head of school if further information is required.

The government duly helps financially but funds raised from various activities provide that little bit extra very much needed to make the school a better place for the children.

The participation of parents and friends in all activities, whether educational, cultural and fund-raising, such as the recent Wardijafest held at the school and adjacent grounds, is very much appreciated by all concerned.

May God bless them all.
