An English wine merchant, Sheldon’s Wines, has launchedits own label rosé wine, branded Royal Blush, with the label depicting a naked Prince Harry sitting on the edge of a snooker table.

The image is one of several images various artists and bloggers painted in the wake of the recent Las Vegas scandal, in which the young royal got involved in a game of strip billiards.

The manager of the wine merchant, Peter Creek, told his local newspaper, the Cotswold Journal: “We have not done anything like this before but we thought this merited a bit of fun and was too good an opportunity to miss.

“Customers seem to love it and it has been flying off the shelves – our rosé sales are up by 200 per cent.”

The wine itself is described on the merchant’s website as an “uncomplicated and easy drinking” French rosé made from the Tannat grape.
