Dozens of Chinese couples tied the knot in a frozen wedding on Monday as part of the Harbin International Ice Festival in northern China.

They brazed freezing temperatures, piling on coats on top of their suits and gowns to walk down a red carpet covered in snow.

In all, 34 couples were married in the mass celebration.

The festival, marked by all sort of winter activities, draws several million tourists from across the country and internationally each year.
