I would like to thank Joseph Borg for his letter ‘When was L’Isle Adam Band really set up?’ in which he also shared a picture of a particular cap-badge from his private collection (The Sunday Times, December 12).

I would also like to thank the L’Isle Adam Band Club of Rabat for its superb musical performances, cultural events and entertaining, social and philanthropic activities – particularly during the past year.

The vocal and instrumental concert held on December 13 at St Agatha’s School, Rabat, was a particularly entertaining experience – the best Christmas present that L’Isle Adam Band Club could have given us music lovers. I wished this concert could go on, but I appreciate that such performances are very demanding on the organisers, musicians, singers, directors and helpers. Still, there will be many more events in the future, God willing.

So I invite all music lovers to support this band club, to pray to God and St Joseph to continue to guide and bless the central and various sub-committees of the Għaqda Mużikali L’Isle Adam and to check out their website www.bandalisleadam.com/home.html regularly for updates:and to share this information with all your friends.
