Video interviews of youths talking about their careers, talents, social life and fashion are being featured on a new youth section The Zone at www.timesofmalta.com/thezone.
Tomorrow two new interviews will be uploaded on the following:
Luisa Diacono, designer.
What is it like to build a name for yourself as a designer in the world of fashion?
Young entrepreneur Diacono aspires to be the next big Maltese name in the fashion industry.
See how she manages to bring out new collections of scarves every season, sell them professionally and market herself like a top designer name.
Thomas Naudi, student and vice-president of the Association of Students of Commercial Studies (ASCS).
Life doesn’t have to revolve around university when you are a student. There are many more things to do with your time besides sweating over exams. For example, learn a few soft skills by being involved in students’ organisations, just like Naudi (also known as Noddy).
At the time of the interview Naudi’s extracurricular work was mainly with AIESEC, the Association for the International Exchange of Students in Economics and Commerce. Since then, he has been elected as vice-president of ASCS.
Naudi’s work with students, his organisational skills and ability to cope with extra work and studying evidently pays off. See what he has to say about working with students, travelling abroad and learning by spending time with different cultures and people.
Send videos about your own career choice, special talent or achievement to thezone@timesofmalta.com.
