Ten teenagers from Luxol Sports Club have rolled up their sleeves to embellish the rundown garden at Casa Leone’s home for the elderly.

After greeting the residents at the former Blue Sisters home in St Julian’s, the group started gardening and painting to give the place a much-needed makeover.

The work was carried out as part of a Youth in Action project themed Breaking Frontiers, which aims to encourage informal learning and streng-then European Citizenship and Employability.

They were headed by group leader coach Billy Mock.
