A carpenter and chef yesterday denied aggravated possession of three drugs at a residence in Msida on Tuesday.

Brian Sammut, 22, of Msida did not make a request for bail but lawyers Giannella and Gianluca Caruana Curran asked Magistrate Claire Stafrace Zammit to send a recommendation to the prisons director for him to kept in the section for young people.

He pleaded not guilty to being in possession of cannabis, ecstasy and mephedrone in circumstances which denote they were not for his exclusive use.

He also denied being in possession of the drugs within 100 metres of a school and relapsing.

Police had found some 150 grams of drugs ready to be sold in packets, sources said.
