YachtHub Group Malta has been appointed local representative of Cranchi Yachts and Boats.

The group, founded with a clear mission to bring together an exceptional team that provides a bespoke, personalised and unrivalled service, will be responsible for the representation, sales and aftersales of Cranchi yachts and sport boats through its office at the Portomaso Marina.

Cranchi is a family-owned company, officially founded in 1870, although Giovanni Cranchi built his first boat years before that. The company was originally located on the shores of Lake Como. Today Cranchi builds its yachts in one of the most technologically sophisticated boatyards in the world.

In 2006, the company went public, but is still run by fourth generation Aldo Cranchi, with at least five fifth generation Cranchis now working for the brand to ensure that the entire process of the production of these boats is based on the attention to detail and superior old world craftsmanship as inspired by its founders.

Kenny Appleyard, brand manager for Cranchi in Malta, said: “We are delighted to form part of a family that has been successfully producing yachts since 145 years. During the upcoming six months to one year, the brand will launch a new range that includes the 52, 56 and 78 Flybridge and the 52 Sport Cruiser. We are confident that these will be very successful in their respective segments.”

The aftersales of the brand has been entrusted to the group’s aftersales team composed of 15 full-time individuals that can cover all aspects of repairs and maintenance on the boats. Two of the new boats will be launched during the forthcoming Cannes Boat Show, which the YachtHub will be present for. YachtHub will also be participating at the international boat show of Genoa and Valletta.

Apart from the Maltese headquarters, YachtHub Group are also present in Tunisia and Morocco, with plans to open a new office in Algeria. The company’s managing director, Charlo Briffa, said YachtHub has been established with the aim to achieve a leading position through customer satisfaction and repeat services.

“We are dedicated to providing a service that is a consistently unrivalled experience. The same level of relationship, which we built with our customers, is also of the same level with our partners. Our partnership with Cranchi strengthens our offering in all ways,” Mr Briffa said.

As part of the launch, the group will be offering special discounts on spare parts for the re-introduction of the brand and special offers on the stock boats that comprise the M44, Endurance 33 and Z35.
