The Xara Palace Relais and Chateaux in Mdina is featured in this month’s Vanity Fair cover story in an interview with actress Angelina Jolie.

Jolie and her husband Brad Pitt are frequent visi-tors to the hotel and its restaurants, particularly DeMondion restaurant.

De Mondion, on the roof of the hotel, offers diners with a spectacular view, beautifully described by Vanity Fair contributing editor Rich Cohen.

British journalist Jason Pollock said: “The food at De Mondion is Michelin star at its best.”

A small but highly creative menu allows executive chef Kevin Bonello (who trained at The Berkeley in London) and his team to cook a range of amazing modern Mediterranean-fusion dishes.

De Mondion was recently also featured in Michel Roux’s Waterside Inn Magazine, The Wall Street Journal and Diplomat Magazine.
