Not for the first time, the national radio station must have been unsure what day it was when transmission started for the day on February 26 at 5.30am.

Whoever put on the pre-recorded rosary chose the Glorious Mysteries – which are recited on a Wednesday – instead of the Sorrowful Mysteries. It made me wonder whether I had slept for 24 hours!

It has happened too often that the wrong recording was transmitted, which is a bad reflection on what is the most popular and most professional radio station.

There is also something else that has been bothering me for some time now.

When reciting the Joyful Mysteries on the fifth station, the reciter of the rosary says: “Mary lost her Son in the temple”, which is incorrect.

Mary and Joseph were on their way back to Jerusalem with others when they realised Jesus was not in the group and they searched for Him for three days before finding Him preaching in the Temple.

Therefore, the fifth station should say: “Mary lost her Son and after three days found Him preaching in the temple”.
