The chief executive of a non-league English football club has been arrested during an away match.

Carolyn Still (pictured), 29, was held for using threatening words and behaviour during Mansfield Town’s Blue Square Bet Premier play-off semi-final against York City on Wednesday night.

It is understood she received a caution for her behaviour in Grosvenor Terrace, next to the stadium.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “A 29-year-old woman from Retford, was arrested at 9 p.m. on May 2, for using threatening words and behaviour.”

Alarm over tree boozing craze

Authorities in New Zealand raised concerns yesterday about a student drinking game called ‘possum’, in which participants sit in trees downing alcohol until they get drunk and fall to the ground.

The craze has reportedly swept the South Island city of Dunedin, leaving public parks strewn with glass, litter and vomit.

“It’s been occurring fairly regularly for the last two or three years,” Dunedin City Council’s parks manager Alan Matchett told Fairfax Media.

Mr Matchett described the activity as “pointless” and said his staff were tired of cleaning up all the mess created by groups of students playing possum.
