Malta Under-23 women’s team coach Joseph Tanti and his assistant Twanny Xuereb have announced their preliminary squad for next year’s Challenge Trophy tournament.

The coaches have already met their players who are currently practising once a week at the University Sports Hall.

Training sessions are expected to intensify as the tournament dates draw closer.

So far, the European Handball Federation have not decided on the venue for the 2014 Challenge Trophy.
