By means of a worldwide ‘FIFA Live Your Goals’ campaign and open days adopting the same slogan, the Malta FA will be trying to generate another fresh surge of enthusiasm among young girls at the Centenary Stadium next Sunday.

The ‘Live Your Goals’ initiative was launched to attract as many players as possible to take up women’s football.

Activities on Sunday start at 9am. Professional coaches and national team players will be assisting the young participants.

The Malta FA’s vision for the next four years is to assist women’s football clubs further and increase the number of qualified female coaches.

That would help to widen the area of participation among the younger generation as the MFA are also planning to hold U-11 festivals (the venue will be at Pembroke Athleta FC) on a regular basis in order to retain the young football hopefuls within their fold.
