A 37-year-old woman was conditionally discharged after pleading guilty to assaulting, slightly injuring and insulting police officers as they tried to stop an argument with her partner.

Rachel Shaw, of St Paul’s Bay, also admitted breaching the peace on Tuesday at 4.15am in the town’s Sant’ Antnin Street.

Ms Shaw and her partner were drinking in a bar when they had an argument, which spilled over into the road, and the police were called in, Magistrate Antonio Micallef Trigona heard.
