Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air yesterday launched its new route to Warsaw, which will start operating in April.

The additional route was welcomed by Tourism Minister Edward Zammit Lewis, who described it as “important news” for the industry.

“It will further improve connectivity and accessibility to our islands from eastern Europe,” he said.

The new route indicated the company’s commitment to offer affordable fares and an excellent travel experience to visitors, he added.
